Tick Borne Encephalitis

Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is a viral infection spread by tick bites. Ticks infected with the virus are found in parts of Europe and Asia. In the UK, the risk of getting it is very low. 2 injections of the vaccine can protect you for about a year, and a 3rd injection can protect you for about 3 years.
Malaria Doxycycline
1 Daily for 2 Days before and for 28 Days after travel | from £12 for 50 pack
Both adults and children should take one dose of doxycycline per day starting a day or two before traveling to the area where malaria transmission occurs. They should take one dose per day while there, and for 28 consecutive days after leaving.
Malaria Lariam
1 Tablet 1 week before, One Tablet per week of travel and then one weekly for 4 weeks after travel | from £3 per tablet
Malaria is caused by a parasite which is passed from one person to another by mosquito bites. Lariam interferes with the growth of the parasites in red blood cells. Lariam is effective in preventing malaria and is recommended in certain parts of the world.
Malaria Malarone Generic
Take 1 Daily + 2 Days before and 7 Days after travel | Price varies
Malarone is an effective branded treatment used to prevent and treat malaria. It should be taken every day if you are travelling to a malaria risk area.
Rifaximin Traveller’s Diarrhoea

Rifaximin (Xifaxan) is a non-absorbed antibiotic for the treatment of adult traveler's diarrhoea caused by enterotoxigenic strains of Escherichia coli.
Chickenpox
2 Doses | from £65 per dose
Chickenpox is a common childhood infection. Usually, it's mild and complications are rare. Almost all children develop immunity to chickenpox after infection, so most only catch it once. The disease can be more severe in adults.
MMR Vaccine
2 Doses | from £35 per dose
The MMR vaccine is a safe and effective combined vaccine. It protects against 3 serious illnesses: measles, mumps, rubella (german measles). These highly infectious conditions can easily spread between unvaccinated people.
Japanese Encephalitis
2 Doses | from £125 per dose
Japanese encephalitis occurs mainly in many parts of Asia and the Western Pacific, particularly in rural areas. It is spread through the bite of an infected mosquito. It does not spread from person to person.
Oral Typhoid
1 Box | 3 Capsules | from £35 per box
Typhoid fever is common in many regions of the world, including parts of East and Southeast Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Meningitis B
2 Doses | from £165 per dose
The MenB vaccine will protect your baby against infection by meningococcal group B bacteria. These bacteria are responsible for about 9 in every 10 meningococcal infections in young children.
Meningitis ACWY
1 Dose | 5 Years | from £45 per dose
The MenACWY vaccine is given by a single injection into the upper arm and protects against 4 strains of the meningococcal bacteria – A, C, W and Y – which cause meningitis and blood poisoning (septicaemia).
Hepatitis B
3 Doses | Lifetime | from £35 per dose
Hepatitis B is a liver infection that is spread through blood, semen and vaginal fluids. It's more common in Asia and Africa than in the UK.
Hepatitis A
2 Doses | 20 Years | from £35 per dose
Hepatitis A is a liver infection caused by a virus that's spread in the poo of an infected person. It's uncommon in the UK, but certain groups are at increased risk including people travelling to places with poor sanitation.
Diptheria, Tetanus, Polio DPT
1 Dose | 10 Years | from £35 per dose
If you are travelling to a risk area for polio or diphtheria, you may need the polio, diphtheria and tetanus vaccine. Whether you require this booster depends on the date of your last vaccination.
